FOB Factory recreates this timeless military form using their exclusive 14oz “888” black denim, woven at low tension on a rare loom known as the “888 Three Eight”—one of only a handful still operating in the world today. This specialized loom allows the fabric to develop a soft, matte surface where the weft yarn remains subtly hidden, producing a uniquely subdued black tone with depth and texture rather than shine.

The denim is one-washed at the factory, delivering immediate comfort while preserving long-term aging potential. Over time, the black denim will develop nuanced wear patterns and soft contrast, giving the trousers a lived-in, personal character without aggressive fading.
