The design features the Yatsu-giku, a rare eight-petal chrysanthemum crest with squared petal tips. In Japanese, Yatsu-giku literally means “eight-petal chrysanthemum.” The chrysanthemum has long been associated with longevity, renewal, and nobility, making it one of the most enduring symbols in Japanese art and design.

Measuring approximately 16 mm in diameter, the charm is crafted from solid sterling silver (925). The master mold was meticulously created by Kobashi Studio founder Junichi Kobashi, with a vintage-inspired finish that intentionally preserves subtle file marks and handmade distortions—details that highlight the authenticity of handcrafted production.
