The unique knitting process relies solely on gravity to create a fabric free of stress and tension. Each machine produces fabric at a slow 24 revolutions per minute, making only 8-10 garments’ worth of fabric daily—whereas modern machines are over 10 times faster. The result is a heavyweight fabric that’s soft yet incredibly strong, regarded as the finest sweatshirt material available today.

This sweatshirt features a classic round neck, no side seams, and a dense weave that enhances wind resistance, keeping you comfortable in a variety of conditions. The deep indigo hue is achieved through a traditional dye bath technique. Much like your favorite jeans, this sweatshirt will develop character and fade gracefully over time.
