The face yarn is spun from a 7:3 blend of Desi cotton and organic cotton from Uganda. Desi cotton, known for its short fibers and natural irregularity, brings structure, volume, and a distinctive dry hand that recalls the feel of wool. The Ugandan organic cotton balances this texture with stability and cohesion, resulting in a fabric that feels robust yet controlled. Produced on antique knitting machines in Wakayama, Japan, the fabric achieves a dense yet breathable structure that feels reassuring without being stiff.
