With a legacy spanning back to 1947, Ferre has been dedicated to textile yarn recycling, earning numerous international certifications and awards for their recycled yarn. In collaboration with Ferre, UES has joined forces to create a truly unique t-shirt capsule collection. Utilizing yarns sourced from recycled denim, they've achieved a distinct light indigo hue, boasting a robust 9oz weight and a textured feel reminiscent of vintage denim jeans. While the thread's uneven shape lacks the sharpness of UES No. 8 nep tee, its thickness closely mirrors it. The light indigo color harmonizes perfectly with denim, making this tee a standout piece in any wardrobe.

All UES T-shirts run smaller in size compared to their shirts or jackets. Typically, if you wear a size 3 (L) in the flannels, you will need to select a size 4 (XL) in this UES Recycled Denim tee. In other words, it's one size smaller than other UES tops and two sizes smaller than your regular American size. However, individual body types can vary, so, as always, we recommend consulting our size chart for the perfect fit. It has been rinsed in Japan, so there will be no shrinkage.

UES is a small Japanese label founded by Chuji Matsumoto in 1994. UES comes from the English word "Waste", which means that Matsumoto-San wants you to make full use of each garment for as long as possible before discarding it. It is a small judgement of the concept of disposable wear that is so commonplace today in the world of fashion and from which Matsumoto-San disassociates himself completely.
